Job Description:

As a fast growing prestigious outside caterer we require experienced bartenders to work on the bar at our exclusive venues, Winters Barns and Mount Ephraim and Private Marquees. We require experienced bartenders who have a detailed knowledge of the bar operation, wine service and a passion for excellent customer service. Cocktail experience preferable.

 

We are appointed sole caterers for 4 stunning venues and approved caterers for many other prestigious venues in Kent, we also provide catering for high end private clients in their houses and marquees. You will provide the highest standard of customer service whilst ensuring the smooth operation of the bar during an event.

 

The successful candidate will be encompassing the following as part of their role:-

 

• Organisation of the bar

• Setting up and closing down the bar

• Serving guest drinks and preparation/ assembly of pre-ordered drinks packages

• Preparing and serving cocktails 

• Cleaning of the bar area

• Cashing up the till (experience of this is essential)

• Stocktaking (experience not essential as full training will be given)

 

In terms of background, you will need to have worked behind a bar for at least one year. You will have a solid knowledge of bar drinks. You will be immaculately presented and able to deliver exceptionally high standards of customer service. Remuneration is dependent on previous experience and knowledge of the industry. You will report to the Bar Manager/ Event Manager on site.

You will be required to have smart black trousers and black non-slip comfortable leather shoes. We will provide a shirt, tie/bow tie and waiters apron. If you match the following criteria, then this position may be for you:-

 

• Experience working behind a bar

• Cocktail experience 

• Effective communicator

• Excellent customer service skills

• Self-motivated with high work ethic

 

Applicants with their own vehicle preferred due to some locations of venues and late finishes.
